Cockatrice

Cockatrice:

A phallic Cockatrice - the reptilian result of a chicken's egg hatched by a snake (or is it the other way around?) - rearing its angry venom-spitting head. Hand-painted delft tile in Cobalt , Copper and Polychrome, inspired by traditional 'kwadraat' delft tiles, and Paolo Uccello.

Approximate dimensions: 13.1cm x 13.1cm x 0.9cm thick
