This limited edition screen print 'advertises' traditional Norfolk Punch, a medieval monastic tonic to invigorate, made with herbs, spices, fruit and berries (to a closely-guarded secret recipe!).
The print shows Mr Punch about to punch a Norfolk Punch Punch-bag. The scene is set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Here Mr Punch sports a bowler, or billycock, hat, another Norfolk invention and named for William Coke of Holkham Hall.
This 3-colour print measures 42 cm high by 30 across (A3 - a standard frame-size). It is printed on 300 gsm Heritage paper in a strictly limited edition of 35, signed by the Artist.
